| Carolyn is a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Teacher Trainer and Psychosexual Therapist specialising in Addiction & Trauma Recovery. Dramatic early Childhood experiences led her into addiction to Smoking, Drugs & Alcohol. Whatever she tried nothing could kill her pain. She became a body painter and worked with many famous Artists such as Bryan Ferry, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie and Elton John. When doing the make-up for David Bowie one day her life changed dramatically. David took one look at her and told her she was in trouble. He was at the time himself in recovery and wanted her to get well too. He encouraged her to attend AA and stay sober. Soon afterwards she found Kundalini Yoga and started to meditate which has brought great transformation for her. She says: 'Sometimes the pain comes on so suddenly and that can be devastating. When you stay with it 'The Mantel of Grace' can descend and you realise that you have taken a step through a door and nothing will ever be the same again.
